Upper Body Mobility and Suppleness
In this two hour on-line workshop we will unlock the keys to having a supple an relaxed upper body. Drawing on Qigong, mobility, and natural movement training, we will learn an extensive set of movements to open the neck, upper back, shoulders and upper limbs. Exercises will include the first half of the 8 Sections Brocade, Tongbei training, Swinging Arms, and Spiral/Circular mobility training. This is the first part of a two-part training, you can register for either or both. Participants will leave with a clear set of exercises to open up and restore movement to the upper body and create a sense of freedom and lesson pain.

Lower Body Mobility and Suppleness
In this workshop, we will focus on restoration of movement and mobility to the lower body including the low back, hips, knees, and ankles. The training will include movements from Qigong, Natural Movement, and Martial Arts. Specifically, we will learn the 2nd half of the 8 Sections Brocade, Spiral Mobility training, and specific stance work from Bagua and other systems. Participants will leave with several different exercises designed to unlock and restore movement and freedom to the lower body and help with stiffness, pain, and other issues. This is part 2 of a 2 part series. The workshops can be taken together or individually.

Nate Summers, author of Primal: Why We Long to be Wild and Free, and Awakening Fire: An Essential Guide has been a survival skills instructor for over 20 years with a background in anthropology, Asian studies, and natural medicine. He taught and directed at the Wilderness Awareness School for over 15 years, and has served as faculty for the Desert Institute of Healing Arts, the Asian Institute of Medical Studies, and as adjunct faculty for Prescott College. Nate's passions include ethnobotany, natural mentoring, hunter-gatherer childhoods, natural movement, herbal medicine, and internal martial arts.
Nate has trained and taught internal martial arts, Qigong, animal forms, mobility and natural movement for over 20 years.
